  • School Background and Career Goals:

    • Currently in the third year of my Biological Sciences degree.

    • I am open to various careers in healthcare at this point

    • Organize and create some fantastic events that get students exposed to the many aspects healthcare has to offer.

    • Foster a sense of community for the students, even if virtual

  • Interesting Fact about me:

MIRAY ESKANDAR: CO-PRESIDENT

  • School Background and Career Goals:

    • I am going into my third-year of a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree.

    • My goal is to find a career that I love, preferably in healthcare (could be medicine, might not be, we’ll see!).

  • My Plans for the Group

    • I would love to showcase careers that impact/work with the health sector, but may not be traditional “healthcare” jobs. Fields such as public health or policy making interest me.

  • Interesting Fact about me:

    • Currently, I am a second-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree.

    • Contribute to organizing events that are both informative and engaging for students across different faculties.

    • Highlighting the broad scope of healthcare-related efforts that work to encompass the Canadian healthcare system.

    • I am a fourth-year biochemistry honours student.

    • My dream career is to become an OB/GYN.

    • Provide a platform for diverse groups of people working in the healthcare field, in hopes of facilitating discussions about their experiences and challenges.

    • Create a space in which all students feel welcome and have the ability to learn more about their future careers in healthcare.
